Music not deviates but enhances the education of our children by helping them in developing connections and adding depth to their thoughts and feelings. If we desire a society housing culturally literate people, music must be an essential part of our children’s education. Music tends to enhance the academic as well as cultural and social development of children. The children of today need more than just being taught numbers and facts. As much as they need to be well learned in maths, science, history, geography, civics, they equally need to learn other creative skills for a more holistic development.

Holding on to this belief, we also train our children in music. We provide them training in different musical instruments and encourage them to learn and excel in the same. The sole difference between the privileged and underprivileged children lies in the access of opportunities and platforms to perform and grow. We ensure to bridge this gap for the children of our NGO so that they also get equal opportunity to perform, entertain and move towards overall excellence. Many researchers have proved that arts and music supports cognitive, emotional and social development in children including academic excellence. Learning music can help children widen their memory, creativity, auditory skills, motor skills, language development, reasoning abilities, reading abilities, concentration, communication and overall academic development.

Learning music under the guidance of a musical instrument expert can have many benefits for an artist. Apart from improving the social life, it also instils the quality of patience in a person. It fosters creativity which is something very essential for an artist. Music helps connect with different people and along with improving the memory and confidence, it also acts as a stress buster. All in all, having the experience of learning a musical instrument is just pure fun and all things positive.
